Stephanie Ellen Sy

Stephanie Ellen Sy is the author of numerous picture books, including Jia Has a Dog Problem, The Magnificent Banyan Tree and the Green Tong Lau, and The Quest for the Longest Noodle. Much like the long, winding noodles in her tales, Stephanie's own life has been a journey connecting different cultures—from the Philippines to Hong Kong, to the US, and Italy. She now lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, writing stories about the delicious, tangled, and wonderful ways we find belonging.
