BookmojiPLUS Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Bookelicious is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for students, educators, administrators, librarians, parents, and other members of the school community.

Bookelicious has adopted the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as the technical accessibility standard for BookmojiPLUS. We are actively evaluating the product, addressing identified accessibility barriers, and incorporating accessibility into our development and release processes.

Scope of this statement

This accessibility statement applies to the BookmojiPLUS subscription service, including:

• The student experience provided through kids.bookelicious.com, including building Bookmojis, tracking reading, participating in reading challenges, earning badges, and related student features.

• The authenticated educator and school-management areas of www.bookelicious.com, including My Classrooms, My Schools, My Library, student reading progress, reading goals, challenges, and related reporting features.

Other publicly available marketing, editorial, and commerce areas of www.bookelicious.com are not part of the BookmojiPLUS subscription product and are not included within the current BookmojiPLUS accessibility evaluation and reporting scope.

BookmojiPLUS is a web-based service. Bookelicious does not currently offer a native mobile application for BookmojiPLUS.

Accessibility measures

As part of our continuing accessibility work, Bookelicious is:

• Evaluating BookmojiPLUS against WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

• Using automated and manual accessibility-testing methods.

• Testing important workflows for keyboard access and compatibility with assistive technologies, including screen readers.

• Recording confirmed accessibility barriers and verification tasks in our development tracking system.

• Prioritizing identified barriers according to their impact on users.

• Retesting accessibility issues following remediation.

• Incorporating accessibility review into our development and release processes.

• Documenting evaluation results in an Accessibility Conformance Report based on the applicable Voluntary Product Accessibility Template.

Current accessibility status

Our accessibility evaluation and remediation work is ongoing. Although we are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance throughout the defined BookmojiPLUS scope, some parts of the service may not yet fully conform.

We welcome reports of accessibility barriers so that we can investigate them, provide assistance where possible, and consider them in our remediation planning.

Reporting an accessibility issue

Educators, administrators, librarians, parents, guardians, school representatives, and other adults may report an accessibility barrier by emailing:

Please include, when possible:

• The page, feature, or activity where the issue occurred.

• A brief description of what happened and what you were trying to accomplish.

• The browser and type of device being used.

• The assistive technology being used, if applicable.

Please do not include a student’s name, account credentials, disability information, educational records, or other sensitive student information in an email or form submission.

Accessibility feedback involving students

The BookmojiPLUS student experience at kids.bookelicious.com is designed for children and does not provide children with a direct contact or feedback mechanism.

If a student encounters an accessibility barrier, an educator, parent, guardian, or other authorized adult should report the issue using the process described above. This approach allows Bookelicious to receive and address accessibility feedback without asking children to submit personal information directly.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Bookelicious will continue evaluating BookmojiPLUS, reviewing feedback, addressing confirmed barriers, and updating our accessibility documentation as the product and its accessibility support evolve.
