Mary Oliver

Mary Oliver (1935–2019) was a Pulitzer Prize-winning poet whose work is deeply rooted in her observations of the natural world. Born in Ohio, she published her first book of poetry in 1963 and went on to become one of America's most beloved and best-selling poets. Her work, including American Primitive and New and Selected Poems, earned her the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
