Katey Howes

Katey Howes (1977–2024) was an award-winning children's author and poet. Formerly a physical therapist, she was passionate about helping kids recognize that they are makers, inventors, and creators. She was the author of several acclaimed picture books, including Magnolia Mudd and the Super Jumptastic Launcher Deluxe, Be a Maker, and Rissy No Kissies.

Elizabet Vuković grew up around makers in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. She graduated with a degree in optometry before deciding to go back to school for illustration in San Francisco, where she currently resides.
