About the Event
Q1. How long is an event?
A. Each event is 30 to 40 minutes long, including time for a Q&A session with the author.
Q2. Are the events interactive?
A. Yes! Each event includes at least one interactive element—like reading, writing, or drawing—with the author or illustrator.
Q3. Do students need to read the book(s) beforehand?
A. No. The featured books enhance the experience but are not required reading before the event.
Q4. Are the events aligned with academic standards?
A. Yes! Bookelicious events are thoughtfully designed to support academic standards and classroom learning.
Student Participation
Q5. Can students ask the author questions?
A. Yes! All registered schools can apply to be a Spotlight School. Selected schools appear on the live event to ask questions directly of the author. All other classrooms can submit questions through the Q&A box during the webinar.
Q6. Will events be recorded?
A. Yes. All events are recorded and available to watch for 30 days after the live event. (For registrants only.) Please note: the live student Q&A portion is not included in the recording.

Q7. How many classrooms can attend per school/organization?
A. Event pricing includes access to Zoom links for your organization. Need more? Contact customercare@bookelicious.com.

Q9. What should I do if I don’t see my Zoom link?
A. First, check your SPAM or junk folder—the link comes directly from Zoom. If you still can’t find it, email us at customercare@bookelicious.com and we’ll help you out.
Q10. Can we attend at a different time?
A. No, the event is only available live at the scheduled time. Can’t make it? Email customercare@bookelicious.com to learn about other options to fit your schedule.
Q11. Can multiple classrooms gather to watch an event with one Zoom link?
A. Yes! You can project the event in a shared space (library, auditorium, gym) for several classrooms or the whole school.

Q13. When will the books arrive?
A. Books typically ship within 5-7 days of payment.
Q14. Can we choose our books?
A. Yes! You can select which of the author's titles best fit the ages of your students/campers. You’ll make your selection during registration.
Tech & Troubleshooting
Q15. What platform are the events hosted on?
A. All author events are hosted via Zoom Webinar. You do not need a Zoom account to join—just the access link.
Q16. Do we need a webcam to attend?
A. No webcam is needed to watch the event. However, if your class is selected as a Spotlight School, you’ll need a webcam and microphone to interact live with the author.
Q17. What if we have technical issues during an event?
A. We’ll have a live support contact available during the event to help with any issues. We'll also provide a recording afterward in case you miss any part.

Q18. How do we pay for an event?
A. We accept credit cards, purchase orders, and checks. Details and instructions are provided during registration.
Q19. Can we get an invoice or receipt?
