Coco Rocho is in need of a nap and searches for a place to lay his head. He tries out many different spots, and the text describes each fun and unique location in English and Spanish. The common location for napping--the bed--is given as an example along with other places, such as on a hammock and under a tree. No matter where Coco Rocho takes a snooze, he makes sure to include places and friends he cares about. The large, bold bilingual text is clear and easy to read, while the lively and detailed illustrations are full of joy, vibrantly depicting a child's everyday life. Readers will have a blast identifying the candies and toys found both in the United States and in Mexico. VERDICT An excellent addition to board book collections for children. Raúl the Third

Raúl The Third is a four-time Pura Belpre award-winning illustrator, author, and artist living in the Boston area with his wife, colorist Elaine Bay. He is the illustrator of the critically acclaimed Low Riders in Space series and the World of ¡Vamos! books. His work centers around the contemporary Mexican American experience and his memories of growing up in El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
